How to add an appointment booking link to Google

Help clients move from Google Search or Maps to your online booking page with a clear appointment link and a better local profile.

A client who finds your business on Google is already showing intent. A visible booking link gives them somewhere useful to go before they become distracted by another result.

Prepare the booking destination

Use a page that opens cleanly on a phone, clearly identifies your business and lets the client reach the relevant services quickly. Test it in a private browser window so you see the same experience as a new client.

Add the link in your Business Profile

Sign in to the Google account that manages the business, open the profile, choose the booking-link area and add the full public URL. If several links are present, choose the preferred link you want customers to use.

Google changes labels and profile controls over time, so use its current Business Profile help if the option appears in a different location.

Make the rest of the profile consistent

Review the business category, opening hours, service area, phone number, website, photographs and services. Consistent information helps clients trust that they have found the right business.

Measure what happens next

A booking platform should show which services are popular and how the diary is filling. Ask new clients how they found you and compare the answer with changes made to your Google profile.
