No. Card information is handled by Stripe. Bookahead stores the identifiers and payment status needed to connect the transaction to the appointment.
Can a business record a cash payment?+
Yes. Offline payment records keep the appointment and payment ledger accurate without pretending the money passed through Stripe.
Can the customer add a tip?+
Supported customer payment screens can offer a tip alongside the amount due.
Can a saved card be charged for a no-show?+
Only where the customer gave specific authority to a clearly disclosed, fair policy and the business follows the applicable legal and Stripe requirements.
